When will this all just end, my dreams are now reality. But this is harder than I had ever thought possible. Long days and longer nights I've spent sleeping on the couch. I miss my bed.
Repetative words, repetative songs, choruses I've heard before. Hours on top of hours of the same god damn thing.
I sit here in the smoke as days and nights have passed me by. Recording all our shit over and again. Small details of our life I know are there but I can't hear. And now my girlfriend fucking hates me.
How far will this take us? How far will we go? What is too much now? I'm not sure anymore. Everyone is quietly looking around at each other waiting to see what comes next.

Given another shot. I swear this time we'll make it. (this is the path we're on). The road is free and clear, our eyes bloodshot but open. One day we'll be on top of the fold.
Here's to another night. The end is nowhere in sight and all we got is time. The will to win the fight, we'll take whatever trouble comes our way and we won't let it keep us down.
Our heads under stars, the dreams we can't let go, fire burning in our hearts. (the hunger deep inside). It's what keeps us going and sometimes that's all we need to put us on top of the fold.
Here's to another night. The end is nowhere in sight and all we got is time. The will to win the fight, we'll take whatever trouble comes our way and we won't let it keep us down. And this time we won't let go.

Is this now our anthem? Lonliness and heartbreak. All the wasted nights, they seem to stick to us like crazy glue. The inspiration's died, it died last night along with a part of me, I'm rotting inside. And this is not the way I pictured giving up.
Another night of surely wasting away, again my mind goes astray. Like letters with no words we seem to write everyday. And this is not the way I pictured giving up.
This is not the way I pictured giving up. Sure to fight a losing battle always outgunned.
Growing up I never asked for this. Didn't want to be helpless and on my knees crying for the world I loved, I watched it die. Moments pass I grew inside. And I can't go back to what I used to know.

As we close our bloodshot eyes, we hold our fists to the sky. We stand our ground, praise the sound and let our minds float freely into the clouds, singing out loud. And I can see a common ground.
Now it seems we've won the battle, won the war. Music not as competition but an artform we adore. As we stand our solid ground with our 2 feet on the floor, we have won.
Victim of the daily grind. Won't let it shape our lives. As we grow inside it's time we let go, escaping our minds. Far away we hide from our problems. Dying on the inside but still smiling. We chose our path this time.

And i just gotta say i love you my brother. I wouldn't have it any other way. Everything in life that was sacrificed is let go.
